After a little initial excitement the interest and appetite for music dramas on TV has taken a bit of a battering. Frankly Vinyl turned out to be so overwrought and ordinary that there was noone watching it and therefore no surprise in the fact it was discontinued despite its famous mentors.
To celebrate the release of their Illuminate 10 vinyl and corresponding SOLD OUT tour we took Cool Accidents faves - The Kite String Tangle & Dustin Tebbutt for a spot of record shopping at HUM Music in Newtown.
LUCKY US! - We got the opportunity to go record shopping with Charli XCX when she was in town for the recent Groovin’ The Moo festival dates and found out a few records that meant a little somethin’ to our fave pop mega-star/babe.
Don’t let the title mislead you… NO we haven’t gone and launched an alternative to Tinder. The Cool Accidents Singles Club is way better than having creepy people trying to coax you into sending them n00dz.
Working in a record store is everyone’s dream job right? Listen to the best new and old tunes all day, watch in store performances whilst getting paid, utilise that staff discount on as much wax you can afford and beers for lunch.
