I don’t know if that’s actually a good thing to admit… personally wishing I had my heart shattered into irreparable pieces from a love gone wrong. However, listening to Björk’s new album Vulnicura I feel as though I’ve missed out on a poignant life experience.

Two of the world’s favourite pairs of vocal chords team up together in this amazing documentary, which follows ‘Lord Mayor of the Universe’ David Attenborough and Bjork in her pursuit to funnel all of nature’s goodies into her 2011 album Biophilia. Wait until the Sharpsichord makes an appearance – Henry Dagg, you deserve a medal!

Renowned film director, producer, screenwriter, author, overachiever Harmony Korine is known for his weird and quirky cult indie films such as Gumbo, Trash Humpers, Mister Lonely and of course Kids and he is getting set to return to the big screen this May with his latest project Spring Breakers which has a lot of people excited and based on the NSFW video trailer below, probably has an equal number of people (read parents of potential real life Spring Breakers) concerned.

Scottish trio Biffy Clyro recently took the time to hit us with their unorthodox jukebox selections. Drawing from inspirational material and some current faves they’ve put together a solid playlist of 15 tunes including mostly rock classics from the likes of G'N'Rs, Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Pantera but there’s even a little bit of Frank Ocean and Bjork in there for good measure.

My Silent alarm kicks in at the very mention of Bloc Party, it’s an A list style celebrity panic room with 12inch thick walls of regret, coated in air-brushed titanium nostalgia… If I could get rid of it I would, but the elephant in the room needs somewhere to hang!
