Cool Accidents faves Portugal. The Man are currently in the midst of an Australian tour which has been kindly brought to us by the good people at Corona as part of their From Where You’d Rather Be series.

Basically John, Zach, Kyle & Jason have been living the dream in this fine country of ours, playing gigs in all the best spots, drinking copious amounts of booze and just generally getting turnt up down under… so the whole From Where You’d Rather Be thing is pretty much BANG ON.

There’s a serious spike in cool music themed tumblrs at the moment. It seems like every other day we’re stumbling across a new gem.

The latest discovery comes courtesy of digital artist Ads Libitum and his MusiXploitation series (we think Wax-ploitation is a better name #justsayin).

A UK artist going by the name of B.J Smith (pictured above) has come out with his ‘dedication to the greats’ series, with his takes on Mos Def, Outkast and The Pharcyde in this esteemed category. The selection suggests he’s well listened within hip hop, and the execution is simply brilliant.   

Underrated Outkast jam from their ‘94 debut Southernplayalisticadillacmusik ’Hootie Hoo’ is the perfect audio accompaniment to this gif created off the back of their set at the Governers Ball in NY over the weekend. #gifsgobetterwithmusic

 

Let’s be honest, Outkast’s Coachella set was proper LACK. LUSTER especially given all the hype surrounding it. Seriously though, the 3 piece dining set deserves more props (pardon the pun) than Big Boi & André, and yeah Chance The Rapper was cool but did we really need the Justin Bieber cameo?
