Let’s be honest 80’s music is just “so yesterday” and the Noughties hasn’t aged as well as it should have… 90’s music on the other hand is rockin’ our world right now, and it appears we’re not the only ones…
We do our darnedest to keep things fresh and run a mixed bag of content on this blog, but every now and then we get a case of the broken records about us and keep coming back to certain artists. Portugal. The Man, Charli XCX, Major Lazer, Blood Orange, Oscar Key Sung & FKA Twigs are all names that are constantly on high rotation around these parts but with quality like that can you really blame us?
The first great album of 2013 seems to be here, even if it was in fact released in 2012. I guess even though it was great it required the patronage of uber-cool UK indie Domino records to lift it out of the Pitchfork clutter.
