We admit it, we have a soft spot for Portugal. The Man

One of many reasons is the social conscience they bring to their music, a social conscience that has most recently been brought to bear to raise awareness for the endangered Sumatran Tiger, of which only 400 remain in the wild.

For their most recent album Evil Friends, Portugal. The Man enlisted legendary producer Danger Mouse to add a little of his signature gloss to their already dreamy sound—which is on full-display in their single “Modern Jesus.” But here, we’re happy to get even more glossier, as Thom Green from England’s Alt-J gets in the mix, offering a wobbling take on the already wavy track.

FIDLAR recently took our Australian shores by storm by ripping Splendour In The Grass a new one and then proceeding to party/play their way around the country wowing crowds with their no nonsense (and at the same time all the nonsense!) brand of garage style punk rock.

We took the boys from Portugal. The Man recording shopping on their recent whirlwind tour of Australia as part of Splendour In The Grass. Be sure to stay tuned to Cool Accidents in the coming weeks to find out what artists/albums the guys had connections to.

8am and I’m feeling refreshed and aligned after an hour of yoga. Bethany, Jasmine and myself head over to the Organic Café for a pot of Dandelion Tea. Yum! 

It’s been a minute since we’ve given away some stuff and after a quick sweep of the Cool Accidents headquarters we found some absolute gems that are in desperate need of a new home.
