    SPLENDOUR DIARY Day 1: The Fauxhemian Girl

    8am and I’m feeling refreshed and aligned after an hour of yoga. Bethany, Jasmine and myself head over to the Organic Café for a pot of Dandelion Tea. Yum! 

    I close my eyes and breathe in the fresh outdoor air and infusions from the herbal tea. I love to escape the hustle and bustle The Northern Beaches brings… I mean…  I love living there, but that place can be so intense and pressuring, you know? 

    Bethany tells us about how she spent LITERALLY ALL last week getting her outfits for the weekend. She went to General Pants, Sportsgirl and every Op Shop! She even looked around Byron Bay yesterday afternoon.  I’m sure she will look super cute! 

    Today I’ll be wearing a maxi skirt with a super cute floral print and a white crochet crop top. Bethany spent last night making us headbands using some dee-vine blossoms. Super Cute! 

    Suuuper Excited because it’s 1pm and we are ready and about to head in to the Festival.

    Me and Bethany are dancing along to HAIM and sooo loooving these Girls! Their music speaks to us so much! We are all hoping our favourite song ‘I Love It’ will come on, but the set finishes and we are a bit disappointed. It’s kind of cool that in 2013 we’re finally seeing empowered women playing festival sets like this, it was pretty much only men in bands up until 2011.

    We head over to see PORTUGAL. THE MAN. We looove  these guys and are dancing along to all of their songs. I think I love ‘Channel Orange’ more than their new album but the lead singer is suuuch a babe and seems really artistic? 

    7pm hits and we are feeling super tired and peckish so we decide to go to the Organic café to re-energize ourselves. I drink a weak Latte with Almond Milk and instantly feel refreshed!

    We go over to watch ARCHITECTURE IN HELSINKI instead of MUMFORD AND SONS.  I mean… not trying to be rude… we really love all of Mumford songs… but they have totally sold out.

    We finish the day off back at the Organic Café, having a pot of Sleepy-time Tea! I have loooved Day 1 and suuper excited for the next two days!
