Gig Review
Regret By Southwest
I’m having a beer with a priest in Texas. This is South by Southwest, undeniably the world’s biggest and probably its best music festival.

List of people that were not able to convince me to become a vegetarian to reduce climate change: Al Gore, my vegan best friend (sorry girl). List of people that did convince me to become a vegetarian to reduce climate change: Charlie Pickering and Waleed Aly.
Neil Young & Crazy Horse @ The Plenary 13.3.13
via Faster Louder
Contrary to what you’ve read, Neil Young is still at the Plenary, jamming on an old Re-ac-tor obscurity with the long-suffering Crazy Horse – Billy Talbot, Ralph Molina and Frank “Poncho” Sampedro – by his side.
Gig Review - Clubfeet, Collarbones & Chela @ Ding Dong
I honestly believe the best kind of gig is a comeback gig. A band returning to the loving embrace of their hometown after slogging it out and making it big overseas is a joy to be a part of. The whole atmosphere is different. It’s like the city is throwing a welcome home party.
Cloud Nothings + Violent Soho @ The Annandale Hotel
The pre-show beers were flowing freely in The Annandale Hotel’s beer garden and just as well considering the sweat and stress punters bodies would be put through shortly after. With the crowd steadily growing in the venue you could tell there was a real sense of anticipation in the air for the nights show. The smell of a freshly lit joint rolled over the back wall of the beer garden, signalling it was just about time to head in and check out the support act, Violent Soho.
