Maybe I’m still coming down from Unify The Gathering or slowly getting amped for Soundwave, or it may be more likely the Dutch optimism that came with my 2^nd six pack of Melbourne Tinnies, but it feels like the Hottest 100 actually got kinda heavy for a bit there.

As if being an obsessed Metallica fan isn’t enough – buying all their merch, concert tickets, multiple versions of the one album……the three part CD singles (remember them!?) are one thing… but you have to be across the bootlegs as well.

Being a metal head is pretty much a full time job.

Those of us lucky enough to be remunerated for our keen interest in the devil’s music have to keep our eyes and ears peeled at all times – it’s not easy but someone has to do it!

So when it comes to being the complete fan, you can’t leave out the most vital component – the merchandise.
