It was announced a few weeks ago that Splendour In The Grass would be moved to October, as concerns grew regarding the coronavirus.

However, if you're unable to wait that long for the real deal, then Reuben Gore, a content creator from Adelaide, has made the whole thing inside Minecraft - and Splendour In The Minecraft looks (almost) like the real thing.

No detail has been spared - there's the Amphitheatre, the ticket line, the bars, and the Splendour logo on the walk into the site. There are even some sniffer dogs patrolling the joint, so Minecraft users don't get TOO loose.

Speaking to Music Junkee, Reuben spoke about the project, saying, “Been in isolation for two weeks since I got back from the US so this has been a free time project. I’d say about 30 hours total build time. We just thought it would be a bit of a laugh to make virtual Splendour during the COVID pandemic.”

A walkthrough of the site was uploaded to Facebook page Aus Music Memes For Tash Sultana Loving Teens - check it out here. Reuben says he's likely to put it on a server over the next couple of days so people can visit, but in the meantime, take the tour below.
