This morning, around the time The Preatures were due to take to triple j for Like A Version, the station unexpectedly shut down.
It was down for about an hour and while it's back up now, it's going to take some people a lot longer to get over the "radio silence".
triple j announced pretty swiftly that the station was experiencing "technical difficulties" and for those who were coping, they took the opportunity to make some A+ jokes.
Some blamed the "NBN" for the downtime while other joked about what The Preatures actually covered.
Blame the NBN

The Preatures actually covered Arcade Fire's Everything Now and it's online for all those (read: everyone) who missed Like A Version through no fault of their own.
Check that out below plus some of the best responses.
For some reason I just automatically assumed they’ve been taken hostage

@triplej cutting in and out this morning made for a fun game of "lets keep singing and see if I nail it when the song comes back"

Phew! We thought you might have been raided by the AFP for a moment there!

I thought it was a pretty avant garde like a version when I turned on the radio. Or maybe Merrill Watts was back. Or maybe an AFP raid
