    2020 has meant that people have a lot more time to come up with some wild ideas - and then turn them into a reality.

    At least, that's how we're explaining this mash-up of 100 Gecs and Metro Station.

    Metro Station were huge in the 2000s for their song Shake It. Meanwhile, 100 Gecs are one of the most exciting pop acts right now. In many ways, Metro Station are a distant ancestor of 100 Gecs.

    SoundCloud user Robert Lilly has fused the two acts together to create a monster of a track. They've mixed Shake It with hand crushed by a mallet, and it's chaotic.

    This mash-up gets the heart racing, and feels like what happens when you drink too many energy drinks. It's magic.
