1300 have shared the "anti-music video" for WOAH DAMN, one of the most energetic moments from their recent debut mixtape Foreign Language. If you're a fan of drum and bass, then this heater will be right up your alley.
The Raghav Rampal-directed visual for WOAH DAMN (which, as the group wrote on social media prior to its release, "IS NOT A MUSIC VIDEO") mirrors the track's high-octane energy. The clip features the five members of 1300 trying to shoo away a crew that are filming them as they move through the streets of Eora/Sydney. Things quickly spiral out of hand, but you'll have to check out the clip to see what we mean.
Talking about the origins of WOAH DAMN, 1300 explain, “This one is the kind of song we liked to listen to in high school, it has a UK drum and bass vibe. "Once we had the beat we decided we had to go hard on the lyrics which was how it became ‘whoa damn'.
"This one is the cherry on top of the mixtape. It’s definitely a live song—as soon as we heard it we knew it would be a good song to do live.” It was one of the highlights of 1300's rapid-fire set when they performed in Melbourne at 3K's launch for their City Of Fever project.
