Last night, Australia's music industry's night of nights, the 2018 ARIA Awards, took place in Sydney and as expected, a couple of heavy-hitters took home a bunch of sharp metal trophies.

With the most nominations to her name this year (nine!), Amy Shark took home three last night, including Album Of The Year for Love Monster, Best Pop Release and Best Female Artist. She even took to a bunch of floating platforms on the stage to perform I Said Hi, as well as did an onstage collab with Keith Urban. It was a big night for Amy!

Australia's fave pop rockers 5 Seconds Of Summer were also happy chaps last night, kicking off the night's performances with Youngblood before taking home Live Act Of The Year, Best Group and Song Of The Year.

Tash Sultana was a first time winner (Best Blues & Roots) as was 16-year-old Ruel, who was the youngest solo act to take out Breakthrough Artist. We also saw Courtney Barnett win Best Rock, PNAU win Best Dance and Vance Joy take out Best Adult Contemporary.

Cool Accidents were on the ARIA red carpet before the show handing out cheeky fortune cookies to all the musicians there, here's what went down!
