Anderson .Paak has announced that his third album will be called Oxnard, named after his hometown.
According to a new interview with Rolling Stone, it's the third and final record in the beach series that has seen Malibu and Venice precede it.
There is no release date set just yet but it will be out by the end of the year and it's sounding pretty epic.
“I feel like ambition is missing from today’s music,” he said.
“This is the album I dreamed of making in high school, when I was listening to [Jay-Z]’s The Blueprint, The Game’s The Documentary, and [Kanye West’s] The College Dropout.”
The album was executive produced by Dr. Dre and also features some work with Madlib, who he still has never met in person.
.Paak is due to headline this year's Falls Festival over NYE.
