    SZA Used Crystals To Help Ty Dolla $ign Write The Hook For 'Hit Different'

    SZA and Ty Dolla $ign's collab Hit Different has become a hit. We're waiting on new music from SZA - she's got some heat in store.

    However, Hit Different didn't come about by accident. SZA used the power of crystals to help Ty find the right hook for The Neptunes-produced track.

    Speaking to Vulture, Ty says SZA had a vision for the song and told him he had to use crystals to get it right.

    Ty says,  “She had all these, like, crystals set up, and she wanted me to stand in the correct way to get the right energy. I did it, and the hook came immediately.”

    Ty Dolla $ign's just dropped his new album, Featuring Ty Dolla $ign, and it's got some huge features (as you'd expect).

    We wonder if he's asked any of them to harness crystal energy while working together?
