André 3000 has had an amazing career, both as half of Outkast, and as a solo artist. He's played some of the biggest stages in the world, including a recent festival tour that saw them headlining the biggest festivals around the globe.
However, sometimes not even that scratches the musical itch, with Three Stacks becoming a flautist in recent years. While that's cool on its own, he's taken to randomly and very casually performing in public places to show off his new talent.
Fans see him, double-take, then realise it is in fact the music legend playing his flute like a modern day Pied Piper.
He's been spotted at least a dozen times by different members of the public, including last month, where he was spotted at Los Angeles International Airport putting on a show for unsuspecting travellers.
I saw a man walking around my terminal playing a flute for 40min and was losing my mind because I thought it was André 3000. And then it WAS André 3000!!! pic.twitter.com/tqQ4C8HBh1

He's also been spotted in Philadelphia this month, with various members of the public stopping to snap a photo with hip-hop royalty.
Wasn't tripping. It's him. 3 Stacks in the flesh. And his flute game is A-1. pic.twitter.com/xbQTqjsJiC

One of the lucky people to spot him, Dayna Allen, spoke to the Philadelphia Inquirer about her encounter with André 3000 (born André Lauren Benjamin) while at LA Airport.
“I looked at [Benjamin] and he looked at me and I was in total shock," Allen said. “I immediately regretted not saying anything [at the restaurant], because it was like he wanted to be recognized.”
Andre 3000 is on my flight! He came up to me playing the flute in the airport and being distracted I swore it wasn't him but now I see it really is him

Next time you're in America, keep an eye out. You just might see a very happy rapper playing his flute.
