Pop-punk Queen Avril Lavigne's debut album Let It Go has officially turned 15.
It's the record that spawned Complicated, Sk8r Boi and I'm With You and encouraged everyone to wear baggy jeans and canvas belts.
She was the ultimate sk8r chick, a rebellious popstar who could wear a loose tie with shorts if she wanted to, OK?! Gosh.
We've been looking back on interviews with Lavigne from 2002 and it's proved to be a very fruitful experience because it's an endlessly entertaining YouTube blackhole.
The one we're most pleased to have stumbled upon is one of Lavigne busking in the streets of New York with her band. They're so punk that they turn up without a guitar, buy one and then busk on the streets.
The only problem is, no one seems to no who the hell she is.
It's very awkward but at least we're gifted with this spectacular quote: "If you don't like me for who am I, then all you're gonna get is who I am."
You tell 'em Avril.
