Former US President Barack Obama has achieved enough in his life to fill several movies, and he's chosen who he wants to play him in any future film versions of his life.
Speaking on 360 With Speedy Morman, Barack was asked whether he'd want Drake to play him in a movie. Barack responded that Drake's got the Obama household's approval to play him in any future films.
Barack says, “I will say this: Drake seems to be able to do anything he wants. That is a talented, talented brother.
“So if the time comes and he’s ready? You know what, Drake has — more importantly, I think — my household’s stamp of approval. I suspect Malia and Sasha would be just fine with it.”
It's not a random choice, either. Back in 2010, Drake mentioned that he'd love to play Barack in a film. Now that we're thinking about it, we definitely think Drake could pull off the Presidential-sized role.
Speaking to VH1 News at he Sundance Film Festival, the former Degrassi star said he'd nail the role as the former President. “I hope somebody makes a movie about Obama’s life soon because I could play him. That’s the goal.
"I watch all the addresses. Anytime I see him on TV, I don’t change the channel, I definitely pay attention and listen to the inflections of his voice. If you ask anyone who knows me, I’m pretty good at impressions.”
