The world is continuing to get used to life in self-isolation, and Charli XCX's new music video is a reminder of what life looked like before everyone was staying inside.

She's just dropped the music video for her latest track Forever, a song that sees Charli promising her love for her fans, even when they're not physically together - a sentiment very apt for the situation we currently find ourselves in.

The music video was curated by Charli, with more than 5,000 clips sent in by fans of life both before and after the coronavirus.

It shows clips from Pride festivals, nightclubs and other social events, before cutting to Charli and her fans staying inside to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

Forever is the first look at Charli's upcoming album, how i'm feeling now - which is set to drop on May 15th. Charli's been working on the album with producers A.G. Cook and BJ Burton via the internet, while also letting fans into the album process.

She's been holding Zoom conferences, sharing demos and tweeting out lyric ideas - it's an album for the fans, and she's getting their help to shape what the album is set to look and sound like.

Check out the clip below - it's an emotional journey.
