Charli XCX and Playboi Carti have collided on a new mash-up album that does a phenomenal job of bringing together their two worlds.

When Playboi Carti's Whole Lotta Red dropped at the tail-end of last year, a number of people picked up the similarities between his and Charli's experimental production.

This album proves that they were on the money as both Carti and Charli's sounds blend together effortlessly. We're particularly taken by the synthesis of Charli's Claws and Carti's Slay3r which sound like sonic cousins.

The album was put together by YouTube user SWAMII who admitted they almost didn't finish it. "Tbh, I probably wouldn't have ended up finishing it if you guys hadn't shown so much love," they wrote on YouTube.

Now we just need Carti or Charli to hear it so they know just how perfect a collaboration would be.
