Last week, Doja Cat announced that she would be quitting music after backlash during her South American tour.
Her festival set in Paraguay was canceled due to ferocious weather but fans were expecting her to appear outside her hotel or appear in another way. When she didn't the online onslaught started and Doja reacted by saying, "This shit ain’t for me so I’m out. Y’all take care."
During the week, however, she continued on her socials posting pictures and publicising a shoot with Vogue Singapore leading fans to believe she may have changed her mind.
She has now clarified now that she still intends to quit music after satisfying her upcoming commitments which include a set at Coachella and a support slot for The Weeknd's stadium tour.
