    The year was 2009. Farmville was popular, Kanye interrupted Taylor Swift at the VMAs and Rihanna broke up with Chris Brown.

    Drake also released his first charting single Best I Ever Had and started a run of 431 consecutive weeks on the US charts.

    As Billboard report, The Canadian rapper was hanging on with Signs and Passionfruit but they both dropped out of the top 100 this week, ending an unbelievable run.

    Drizzy is the first ever artist to clock up eight years in the charts, trailed by Lil Wayne, Rihanna and Nicki Minaj who are more than 100 weeks behind him.

    It's the end of an era but it's probably only going to make him hungrier to get some more heat in the charts.
