After six years, Netflix has decided to revive British drama show Top Boy and the new season three trailer has just dropped, revealing that Drake himself is executive-producing it.
Starring British rapper Kano, the show is a gritty look at the struggles of a life led in a housing estate in Hackney, and Drake liked seasons one and two so much in 2011 and 2013 that when the show got cancelled, he implored producers to pick it up again.
Kano told BBC, "He just let them know 'I'm a big fan of the show. If there's anything I could do to help get it back I would love to do so. I'm serious.' Shortly after that we sat down, me, him and [actor] Ash [Walters] and spoke about our ambitions."
Not only does this season star Kano, it'll also feature Dave and Little Simz, two fellow British rappers. Unfortunately, Drake doesn't have a cameo himself.
In other Kano news, he's just dropped his latest record Hoodies All Summer with features from Popcaan, Kojo Funds and more, even housing a little shout out to Stormzy on the first track.
