When we heard that Dua Lipa, Sam Smith and Kesha were performing at this year's official Mardi Gras afterparty, the queer community (and music community) went up in shrieks of excitement. 

Tickets to the Sydney event are extremely limited every year and 2020 was no different. Hordern Pavilion and its surrounds were converted into a vibrant, glittery haven with droves of revellers waiting with bated breath for this year's headliners.

And it literally was a sight that was well worth the wait. Dua Lipa - in a matching rainbow top and skirt - brought along a stack of dancers to perform hits like IDGAF, New Rules, Don't Start Now and her new single Physical. 

Sam Smith had insanely cool stage props and Kesha took it back a notch with Praying, before bringing the energy back up with her classic Tik Tok.
