Kendrick Lamar's new album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers has arrived and there's a lot to unpack.
The album stretches over two discs and has a host of features, producers, samples, and sounds. Lamar's attention to detail is rich as ever and it's going to take a while to unpack.
There's another big album that came out this week and that's Florence + The Machine's Dance Fever. While the two are in competition for the charts, worlds have collided with a Florence + The Machine sample appearing on Lamar's album.
On We Cry Together, fans immediately noticed the soaring vocals of Florence Welch at the start of the track. While she's not featured, it is a sample of her track June from her last album High As Hope.
As we're greedy beings, even though we just got albums by both, we're now after a collaborative album ASAP. Thanks.

I think Florence Welch being on the Kendrick album and Florence + The Machine dropping their own album on the same day is pretty cool and probably intentional
