Halsey took to Twitter to answer a few questions about her upcoming album, Manic, and what to expect from the singer's third record.
First up was a fan asking whether it was better than her debut album Badlands, to which the singer answered, "my friends and I think so. it’s just a different thing. it’s sooooooo real."

It's also set to be a varied record, at times "less theatrical" than Badlands, but it also "gets very grand and delusional and colorful at times." After all, Halsey says, it's called Manic for a reason.
Having announced the album through a livestream where she painted the cover art for the album (in one of the most creative album announcements we've seen yet), so it's looking like this third album is set to be pretty special.
We'll find out whether the claims stand the test of time when the album drops on January 17th next year, but for now, check out the Q&A below.

Not necessarily. In a weird way it is. It gets very grand and delusional and colorful at times. And then some times it’s very *tiny voice* and straight up. It’s called MANIC!!! Haha https://t.co/Jhxy5GYfYS
