Much like the rest of Marvel's films, the premiere of Eternals had a curveball up its sleeve. A certain former One Direction member/global superstar is now part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it's taken us by surprise.
Big reveal from #TheEternals premiere -- Harry Styles has joined the MCU as Eros, brother of Thanos.
— Matt Donnelly (@MattDonnelly) October 19, 2021
In a post-credits scene, Harry Styles appears as Eros, Thanos' brother. Eros, who is an Eternal, is incredibly strong, but can also manipulate people's emotions. He's also very, very horny (which is implied by his name).
There aren't many details about when he'll next appear in a Marvel film, but the glimpse has got fans talking already, with Twitter running absolutely rampant.

While Eros is mostly a bad guy, he tends to turn into a superhero when need be (usually when Thanos is up to something). In these instances, he adopts the name Starfox and heads into battle.

Playing Eros marks Harry's second major film role, after starring in the 2017 film Dunkirk, which was a gritty depiction of World War II. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is a bit of a departure from that, but Harry's proven he can do pretty much anything, so we're looking forward to his next appearance as part of the MCU.
If you want to head along to see the film (as well as Eros/Harry's reveal), it's set to release on October 28th in Australia. Make sure you stick around for the credits!
