The UK is churning out some of the greatest new soul stars at the moment and here's another one, Mahalia.
The 19 year-old artist with the golden voice has just released her new single Proud Of Me which perfectly introduces those who aren't familiar yet.
She's teamed up with one of the UK's finest MCs Little Simz for the track which has a vintage soul sound reminiscent of old school Lily Allen and new school Jorja Smith.
"It was the first time in my short music career that I had stepped out on my own," she said about the song.
"I stumbled for a while I think... tried to get my priorities straight. But, once I understood that, everything kind of fell in to place. The one thing I have always said that makes me truly happy is knowing that my family, friends and you guys are proud of what I have achieved."
She also thanked Simz for the "extra magic" that she added to the track.
Thankfully if this is the first time you've come across Mahalia, there's plenty more to discover. She's been releasing silky tunes under Mahalia for the better part of three years now but it feels like now she's truly found her groove.
She's got millions of views already on some of her videos on YouTube so you better jump on now otherwise you've fallen off.
