When Juice WRLD's posthumous track Righteous dropped, it immediately struck a chord with fans. It's one of his most emotional tracks to date, and really drove home how big of a loss his death was. He's a generational talent, and we're so lucky he had so much music ready to share with us.
Jack Gray has honoured Juice WRLD by covering Righteous, and it's very much a one-man-band effort. The video was shot, edited and performed by Jack Gray, with the video showing Jack rocking out on the drums, bass and guitar.
He's stripped the track back to its essence, elevating the lyrics and his vocals to the forefront. It starts off with just an acoustic guitar and violin (as well as his vocals), before the bass and drums kick in.
The cover has two halves. It builds slowly at the start, before turning into a more rock-inspired affair. There's both acoustic and electric guitar thrown in for good measure, and it sounds brilliant.
