Australian pop artist Jack Gray's new single, That Guy, is an important track about messing up, and having people stick by you.
It's the follow-up to I Got 3, and has a ripper bassline. It's a breezy affair, but it's important to listen to the lyrics closely. You might just learn something about yourself.
Jack's singing about his girlfriend, and how she was there for him, even when he was being self-destructive. Everyone needs someone that will stick by them, even when it's hard - but you have to show them how much you appreciate those who will back you in.
Talking about the track, Jack says, "That Guy is about a time when I was trying to balance hanging out with my mates, being dumb and doing stupid shit and nurturing the start of a relationship with my girlfriend.
"It wasn’t easy and I found myself making a lot of bad decisions. She somehow stuck by me through that phase and was able to reel me in when I couldn’t on my own”.
