    We know Australian-American Joji as part of the 88rising collective - a group that mainly puts out hip hop, rap and soul-influenced R&B - but the rapper has totally swerved to drop a driving rock ballad and we're super into it.

    The rollicking tune is called Run and features Joji's soulful voice and even a guitar solo, with an artful music video that takes place in a desert.

    Even though Joji's known for his more hip-hop-fueled songs, sometimes a curve ball is what's needed to bring attention to an artist's work and ability to flirt with other genres.

    Joji may not continue with the rock ballads in future but we sure as hell love this one.
