When Kanye launched Sunday Service, we're not sure he ever expected to perform a capella gospel songs on a plane, but for this week's episode of James Corden's Carpool Karaoke - dubbed Airpool Karaoke - Kanye, Corden and over 100 members of his Sunday Service choir took to the skies for a feelgood chat.
It's pretty amazing seeing an entire plane of people sing to songs like Jesus Walks and a gospel version of Nelly Furtado's I'm Like A Bird. The church vibes are definitely strong - there's clapping, swaying, raised hands, the whole thing.
Kanye meanwhile is all gleaming white smile, super positive, but yes - very religious these days.
He explains that his conversion to Christianity saw God "show off" by returning $68 million USD to Kanye on his tax return this year (oookay then). "Kanye West works for God!" he exclaims.
Other tidbits include the fact that before bed, Kim Kardashian watches Dateline, while Kanye reads the Bible. He also added he wants seven kids in total (the couple currently have four).
Kanye's Jesus Is King is receiving mixed reviews since its launch last week, with some alienated by its religious content, while others say it's too short and not worth the long wait and multiple delays.
