Kanye West's rollout for his upcoming album, DONDA, has thrown up twists and turns at every point, and he's announced that he's going to be selling a DONDA Stem Player for $200 USD, giving you a chance to put your stamp on the album.
The device is set to ship with DONDA on it. You'll be able to control the vocals, drums, bass and samples, as well as isolate elements of the tracks and add effects.
Once you're done with your remixes, you'll be able to save them and share them with other fans, potentially meaning that there will be endless versions of DONDA out there for everyone to enjoy.
According to the FAQs for the device, it's not just DONDA songs you can remix on it, either, stating that "the platform can split any song into stems."
The announcement comes as Kanye prepares for a DONDA listening party at Soldier Field in Chicago, set to take place on August 26th, after two listening parties at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Fans are hoping that this show will be followed by the release of DONDA, so fingers crossed.
