There's been a rumour for a while now that Kanye West's 2013 album Yeezus could have been called something very different, and now there's confirmation.

Joe Perez, the former Donda art director recently took to Instagram to share visual concepts for the 2013 album, with one looking similar to the Yeezus cover, but with a very different title - Thank God For Drugs.

Kanye told fans at a listening party in New York the inspiration behind calling the album Yeezus, saying, "Simply put, West was my slave name and Yeezus is my god name."

Check out the proposed cover below - it's hard to imagine the cover art for Yeezus looking any different, but we have to admit, this would have been a cool album cover.
