Summer might just be the best season of the year. The weather's warm, the sun is out and everyone is just that little bit nicer.
If you're looking to get warmed up for summer, then Aussie pop artist Kita Alexander's new track, Can't Help Myself, will get you in the mood for summer.
Kita posted about the track on Instagram, saying it was actually 5 years in the making. Good things take time, after all.
Kita wrote, “@danhume and I wrote the initial idea for this song back in 2015 in Hollywood,” wrote the singer. “As we came back to it this year to finish it off, it morphed into something completely different and of course way better.
“For me it’s all about looking back at the first moments of falling in love and the thrill of it all. I don’t know why, but I always think of a very excited puppy when I listen to this song.”
You won't be able to stop yourself bopping along to the track - the production is infectious. Kita's voice has a seriously inviting energy about it, and you'll feel yourself thinking about the first time you fell in love. You might get a little "carried away", but there's nothing wrong with that!
