We love to see local artists collaborate and today, one of the hottest Aussie rappers on the scene Kwame has teamed up with fellow Aussie indie pop starlet E^ST on a new offering called NOBODY.
The song is Kwame like we've never heard him before - introspective yet confident, melodic yet fierce - and the song was even premiered on Beats 1 with Zane Lowe overnight.
“The track itself is a huge reflection of the years I've had thus far, seeing many people come and go. It's a reminder for myself and anyone else to listen to yourself, outside opinions are irrelevant," Kwame says about the tune, which will sit on his upcoming third EP.

We asked E^ST about the team-up when we caught up with her recently and it turns out that their friendship started out like many of ours these days - through Instagram.
"Me and Kwame were like, Instagram friends, we hadn't actually met, and we’d been messaging a little bit and then he was like, ‘hey, I’ve got this track and I'm kind of hearing your voice on it.’ There was a section that he had written over and he was like, ‘do you want to see if you can write a verse over it? If you like it kind of thing.’ He sent it to me and I LOVED it," E^ST exclaims. "Like, I low-key think it's his best song yet. And I was like, so excited to get on it. And I was like, ‘okay, cool.’
"So I wrote my verse and I just recorded my vocals on GarageBand and I sent it to him and he was like, ‘dude, this is perfect. Let’s properly record the vocals.’ So then, yeah, we got together one night and I did my vocals and we met for the first time and he's probably the loveliest person ever. And yeah, it's was just such a fun thing to be a part of."
