Melbourne-based, Sri Lankan-born artist Lakshane is preparing to release his new single, Risk It All, and it's a track that captures his willingness to put everything on the line for love. Teaming up with producer GXNXVS for the track, Risk It All is an upbeat and silky celebration of the instant chemistry you feel with someone new.

The song follows on from recent releases Ariana, Breathe, Selfish and Lose Control, which all showcase Lakshane's ability to seamlessly combine elements of R&B and hip-hop. If you need music that'll soundtrack your next late-night drive, then he's your guy. Risk It All's sound is lighter and brighter by comparison, but it's still full of passion, which is a key part of Lakshane's music. His vocals are as melodic as ever, and he glides over GXNXVS' entrancing production. We're excited to be premiering the track right now!

Speaking about the track, Lakshane explains, "Risk It All was about me being caught with two girls, and not knowing what to do. I wanted to chase someone I’d just met although it felt wrong’.

"I met GXNXVS in Sydney and we were figuring out what kinda song we should make, and got to a point where I started telling him the story. He was like, you were ready to 'Risk It All’. And that was the tagline. He’s like 'we gotta make a song about that!'"

Lakshane's played sold-out shows in both Australia and Sri Lanka, and back in 2019, he collaborated with Sri Lankan rap star Costa on Driveway, a track that featured on Costa's album Paata. The time is now for Lakshane to show the world what he can do. Keep an eye on his next move.
