Lana Del Rey has released Love Me Like A Woman, the first single off her forthcoming album Chemtrails Over The Country Club, and it's got a very DIY cover.

This year, stars from Selena Gomez to Lady Gaga have unveiled flashy music videos shot on an iPhone but Del Rey has taken it one step further, shooting her single cover with the iPhone portrait lighting feature.

We're partial to a bit of portrait mode when capturing a great shot but rarely do we dip into the monochromatic 'Stage Light' function.

Del Rey is no stranger to a selfie for a single cover. Norman Fucking Rockwell's Doin' Time and Hope Is A Dangerous Thing For A Woman Like Me To Have were both selfies.

Fans are obviously excited to see the first piece of this new album which was originally set for release last month but the cover has them talking too.

Mostly, people are perplexed as to how she managed to shoot the cover with her phone given that only last year she was still sporting the same, cracked screened iPhone she owned four years ago.

It seems she's updated her tech but maybe she should go back to the trusty iPhone 6 if fan reactions are anything to go by.

Still no word on when the album is arriving but she's no doubt sifting through her phone looking for the next selfie to pluck out of obscurity.
