Sydney R&B singer Lara Andallo has dropped her third single of the year, and it might just be her best yet. Her new track, On My Mind, sees her trying to woo someone - but it's also a reminder that she's one of a kind.
On My Mind is another example of why people are so interested in the music Lara's making. It's a smooth R&B track that wouldn't be out of place during a DJ set at a nightclub.
Speaking about the track, Lara says, "I haven't really shown my cute and flirty side in any of my previous releases as much as I do in this one, but of course I still gotta let him know I ain't like the rest and say it proudly with my chest."
The song is accompanied by Lara and her crew showing off some killer dance moves in her first official music video - after all, Lara is also a professional dancer and choreographer. The dance routine in the video was developed alongside her close friend and choreographer Jervis Liveo.
Lara's stoked to have been able to make the video with her friends, saying, "It was super dope to have my friends dancing with me and my music crew, like Lil Spacely & Mowgli May backing me up for it. Bringing my two worlds together for my first official music video, meant a lot to me. It was such a vibe!
"I really want to bring these types of music videos to the local scene. Dance is a huge part of my self-expression & storytelling. It's a visual extension of my songwriting.”
