Lil Yachty has teamed up with HBO to make a dramedy series, and we couldn't be more excited.
Variety reports that HBO Max is developing Public Figures with Yachty, and the show is "loosely inspired" by Yachty's life.
The half-hour series was initially going to be on the streaming service Quibi, but found a new home with HBO Max after Quibi recently announced it was shutting down.
However, the creative team behind the show is still intact, so it looks like Yachty's vision for the show will be fully realised.
Public Figures will star Yachty, who's also going to be an executive producer on the show. It's going to showcase "what it's like to be an aspiring influencer in New York City".

Yachty took to Instagram to celebrate the news, simply saying "I made a tv show". We can't wait to watch Public Figures, and see how Yachty goes as the star of the series.
