    Lorde And Jack Antanoff Covering Paul Simon Is Getting Us Through Monday

    Lorde is a huge Paul Simon fan, so much so that she included a sample of him speaking on Loveless off Melodrama, and now she's finally done her own Simon cover.

    At US festival Outside Lands, she brought co-producer of Melodrama Jack Antanoff of Bleachers on stage to cover Me And Julio Down By The Schoolyard off his self-titled record.

    The acoustic cover sees the pair parched at the front of the stage, swapping lines and having a laugh which is enough to plant a smile on our face today. 

    Lorde revealed earlier this year that her goal was to be as good as Simon.

    “I think I’m pretty good now. I think I’ve made a good start. But I want to be Paul Simon," she told The Guardian.

    This cover proves she's really not far off.
