Superstar producer Mark Ronson and young Brisbane indie pop artist Mallrat have become fast friends after Mallrat jokingly accused the international producer of actually being masked DJ Marshmello.
He's currently in the country touring in support of his latest album, Late Night Feelings, and is wowing audiences around the country and he actually took time out from the tour to speak about his friendship with Mallrat with triple j, and how much he loves her music.
I cannot comment on this at this time https://t.co/rxsOzsQA51

"That's a special lady," Ronson said.
"She's great. I can't remember how we first became friends, but I think there was a DM and then around the same time, she was playing a show in LA. One of her first shows there at this little club, I obviously became a fan."
He's also casually mentioned the fact that he'd be down to collaborate with her in the future.
"I would definitely be down to work [with her]," Ronson said. "She's obviously got such a great thing that she's already got, I wouldn't want to ruin it. Of course, anyone I'm a fan of, I'm always down to work with."
Mallrat, understandably, was excited by the news.
@MarkRonson is the kindest, coolest person and I want to be just like him when I grow up https://t.co/KJObEtMr1J

Given the fact that he's collaborated with the likes of Kevin Parker, Miley Cyrus, Bruno Mars and a stack more of some of the biggest artists in the world, this is a huge deal, and we're totally here for it.
