Migos member Offset is going to make his film acting debut in the upcoming movie American Sole, which is going to be epic.
He'll be starring alongside Pete Davidson, O'Shea Jackson Jr. (Ice Cube's son) and Camile Mendes, with the film set to be written and directed by Ian Edelman.
In the film, Davidson and Jackson play two men in their 20s who are trying to make it rich in the sneaker reselling market. However, things quickly turn sour when they have to turn to a shady investor. Offset will play a computer engineer in the film and is set to be pivotal to the story.
He's also going to be curating and executive producing the American Sole: The Soundtrack Album, which will feature at least one song by Offset specifically written for the film. He's making big moves, and it's great to see.
Speaking about the role, Offset says, “This is my first feature film as an actor. After doing NCIS, I knew I wanted to do more acting. Landing this role in American Sole is dope.
"Not only do I get to star in the movie, but I get to bring my skills to the table as the curator and executive producer for the soundtrack. I’m bringing my world to the big screen. I hope the world is ready.”
