André 3000 has simultaneously always been responsible for building us up with his musical output and crushing our dreams with his reluctance to release much, at all.
He's back at his dream-crushing best, piping up to let us know he'd be okay if there was never another Outkast album. He's even over being part of the rap game.
“It’s really just an excitement thing, and where I am in life," he told Complex.
"I kind of like not being a part of [rap], now that I’ve done it...Even with Outkast — if we never do another album, I’m totally fine with that. When I was 25, I said I don’t want to be a 30-year-old rapper. I’m 42 now, and I feel more and more that way."
If there's never another Outkast album, we're actually not ok with that André so please also take that into consideration.
Last we heard, Outkast nearly had a collaboration with A Tribe Called Quest which is far more welcome new than this.
