If, like us, you had a huge emo phase when you were younger (and let's face it, most of us are still in that phase), then we've got some great news. My Chemical Romance and Paramore are set to headline When We Were Young Festival, which is taking place on October 22nd in Las Vegas. It's an incredibly stacked line-up of 2000s emo and pop punk favourites, and it's somewhat similar to the line-ups that were a staple of Warped Tour.

It's set to be Paramore's first show since 2018, and comes after the news that they're recording the follow-up to 2017's After Laughter, with lead singer Hayley Williams telling Rolling Stone that "Paramore feels like home." The band tweeted about the show, writing, "we've missed you." The feeling is mutual.

The full line-up features the likes of Bring Me The Horizon, Avril Lavigne, Jimmy Eat World, Bring Me The Horizon, Saosin, A Day To Remember, Senses Fail, Thursday, Pierce The Veil and many, many more. It's all going down on one day, too, so you'll want to be in festival-ready form to ensure you're able to get from stage to stage.

The festival also reunites a number of bands who have been on hiatus or generally inactive for years - bands like The Starting Line, Boys Like Girls, 3OH!3 and more. It's a real throwback to the glory years of 2006 Tumblr.
