Please give us a moment of your time so that we can throw you a conspiracy theory about Mr. Worldwide AKA. Dale AKA. Pitbull.

Some genius on Reddit has come up with this cooked theory that you can predict whether a year was good based on whether Pitbull charted in the top 40. The only catch? He has to have no charted with a song featuring Lil Jon.

Before 2009, Pitbull hadn't charted without Lil Jon's help. This Redditor argued that during that time there was the Iraq War and the Financial Crisis among other things.

Sidenote: They'd had a bit of wine while coming up with this theory and it's not coherent but we're trying to make sense of it ok?

In 2009, he charted in the top 10 with Hotel Room Service and Obama was inaugurated. In 2010, he had numerous hits including Drop It To The Floor with T-Pain and we got Kanye's best album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. 2011, he nabbed his first number one with Give Me Everything and guess what? We got Lady Gaga.

It goes on and on but in 2016, Trump was elected and you probably won't be surprised to learn that Pitbull had no top 40 hits that year.

He also hasn't had one since then and we should be very worried that things just aren't going to get better.

    Come save us Mr. Worldwide.
