Hip-hop music comes faster than any other genre. It's not uncommon for a rapper to drop upwards of three projects a year and while that's great, it becomes increasingly hard to stay on top of it. 'The Rap Wrap' is our attempt to keep you in the know on the weekly. This week, you're getting a highlight from the new A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie record and a Boys Noize and Rico Nasty collab.
Migos - Give No Fxk (Feat. Travis Scott & Young Thug)
Migos are finally giving us Culture III and Give No Fxk might be our first cut. Travis and Thugger never turn in a bad feature and they both add gold to this ad-lib-filled cut.
A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie - Numbers (Feat. Roddy Ricch, Gunna & London On Da Track)
A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie has dropped his new album Artist 2.0 and lined up the best for this cut Numbers. Roddy, Boogie and Gunna are three of the most in demand rappers in the game right now and they bring their A-game to this track.
Melanie Martinez - Copy Cat (Feat. Tierra Whack)
Melanie Martinez has been dropping a few loosies after last year's K-12 and she's recruited Tierra Whack for Copy Cat. Whack doesn't give many features at all so it should come as no surprise that this is an A-grade performance, capturing Whack's knack for a quirky rap.
Creed Tha Kid - Bag
Brisbane rapper Creed Tha Kid continues his steep rise with his first drop of 2020 Bag. He set up his career nicely in 2019 and now he's coming for the top with the triumphant Bag.
PNB Rock - Ordinary (feat. Pop Smoke)
PNB Rock follows up last year's huge FENDI with Ordinary. He's teamed up with New York up-and-comer Pop Smoke for a dark, focussed flex.
Boys Noize - Girl Crush (Feat. Rico Nasty)
Boys Noize has laid down a menacing beat for Rico Nasty to work her magic over on Girl Crush. It's a hard-hitting, seductive cut by two collaborators we can't believe didn't pair earlier.
