    The wait for Rihanna's ninth album has gone on for four years now, but it looks like there's light at the end of the tunnel.

    She's revealed that she'll be heading into the studio on February 14th (later this week), and is set to be working with a very special collaborator - Pharrell Williams.

    Speaking to The Cut, she revealed the news, saying, “I’m going to be in the studio. I’m so excited actually. I can’t say who I’m working with, but it’s somebody I’ve been wanting to work with him for a long time."

    However, she wasn't able to keep the secret for long, saying, “Okay, I’ll tell you. [It’s] Pharrell.”

    Rihanna has been living her best life, so we can't wait to see what her and Pharrell cook up together. 2020 looks like it'll be the year we finally get R9.
