Look, there were quite a few great EPs that sat a little bit more comfortably with the Triple J demographic and with those that won’t the straight down the line folk record or maybe the pretty post-rock falsetto (see Battleships) but I like to think the your mind is open enough to think about next year’s potential rather than this year’s buzz bands. So, without further adieu, here’s my wrap up of the best Australian EPs of 2012. Envelopes are being pushed, ideologies are being challenge. Also just good tunes hey. Enjoy.
