You know how you've been waiting for Outkast to release some new music? well guess what? YOU CAN STOP WAITING* because Golden Rules have arrived.
*OK so it's not technically new material from Andre & Big Boi but it definitely channels that southernplayalisticadillacmuzik flavour and if it actually happened to be new Outkast business you wouldn't be disappointed. We'd even go so far as to say that if Outkast do finally get around to recording a new record it probably wouldn't be half as good as Golden Rules' Golden Ticket is, #controversial we know.
Golden Rules consists of UK beat maker extraordinaire Paul White and the emcee/singer who puts the 'Flo' in Floridian - Eric Biddines and together they've not only formed our favourite new act of 2015 but also served up one of our fave records of the year so far.
Thanks to ridiculously funky cuts like Down South Boogie above, Auntie Pearl's House and joining forces with Mos Def yasiin bey on the chill vibes of Never Die it's easy to see why we've rarely been giving it a rest on the office stereo.
To celebrate the release of the album, we caught up with Paul & Eric and got them to hit us with their 10 essential rules of hip hop aka Golden Rules' Golden Rules -
Golden Rules' Golden Ticket is available where all debut records by down right funky dynamic duos are sold | streamed.
